Battery consumption
The battery is one of the main (if not the main) concerns of an iOS user with each update, since we have encountered real nonsense when it comes to battery consumption, coincidentally all after iOS 6. Device optimization is something Tim Cook promised for iOS 9 and iOS 10, wanting to reach the degrees of excellence that dragged from iOS 6, and is fulfilling it, that if, very little by little.
I cannot say that I have noticed excessive battery consumption in iOS 9.3 Beta, however, I must be honest and warn that the battery has been significantly predisposed to drain quickly, it is rare to find "home / lock screen" between the top 5 apps that consume the most and is there perennially. Totally irrelevant in terms of lag
The beta has lag, yes, that word that seems unpronounceable within any Apple environment page, the beta has slightly slowed down the device, not in general, but specifically, We can find a fairly common little pull when using Spotlight, when entering Settings and especially when we take off the multitasking. On the other hand, I must be sincere and warn that it is something quite common in the first betas of any update of the operating system, so we hope that in this third beta that will arrive today or in the next ones that we hope will be the finals (I predict a maximum two more) these problems are solved.
Although I warn, do not expect anything out of the ordinary from iOS 9.3, honestly it does not seem to me more than a small polish of certain aspects of the operating system.

I am not telling you this to start a debate, if not to tell you something that you may not know: Android was improving the same as iOS improved until 6, but its encryption is minimal: they only encrypt the / Data folder. iOS 8 introduced FULL system encryption and iOS 9 has even gone further (rootless).
In order to compare systems, the day will have to come when Android encrypts everything, not just a folder. To give you an idea, Ubuntu Touch, which is developed by Canonical, who developed what for me is the best system on the planet (but I do not use it due to its incompatibility), has not wanted to get into encryption for the same reason: performance issues. That is the only reason why iOS has lost performance in the last two versions.
