Neato Botvac D7 Connected, the brand's most advanced cleaning robot

Technology at the service of people reaches one of its highest levels in the home, and cleaning robots are a perfect example of this. Neato with its wide range of cleaning robots including models that connect to your WiFi network and that allow you to control them from your iPhone wherever you are is one of the first brands to bet on making this technology available to everyone, and has just presented its latest model at the IFA 2017 fair that is being held these days in Berlin.

According to the brand, it is the most powerful and advanced cleaning robot launched to date, and boasts unique characteristics that make it the benchmark for other brands. Laser navigation, creation of cleaning maps, integration with services such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa or IFTTT and a long list of new features describe this new model that is added to the Neato family.

The Botvac D7 Connected robot vacuum is Neato's smartest and most powerful model to date. The new Neato FloorPlannerTM advanced mapping and cleaning technology allows users to create a Cleaning Map of their home. After scanning the house with Discovery mode or through normal cleaning, the robot will create a custom map thanks to its MyFloorPlanTM feature, which you can access through the Neato app. What's more, users will be able to establish virtual "avoidance zones" by drawing a line that separates said area. In this way, you ensure that the robot always knows where it can clean and where it cannot, thus eliminating the need to impose a physical barrier. The Cleaning Summary Map will show the places the robot has vacuumed, as well as any problems or obstacles that have prevented it from completing its task.

The new version of the Neato app will be available with the launch of the Botvac D7TM Connected, featuring a more modern look, new alerts, and an improved cleaning summary with a detailed map. With this presentation, the entire Neato Connected family will be integrated with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Neato Chatbot of Facebook Messenger and IFTTT. The new D7 Connected model will be available throughout the last quarter of 2017 for a price of € 899.
