The size of the new iPad will be between 10 and 10,5 inches

As we approach the month of March, probably when we see the new iPads that Apple will launch this year, speculation increases about the new tablet model that the company will launch this year. In addition to renewing the existing 12,9 and 9,7-inch models, experts say that Apple will launch a new model, with a different design than the current one, and whose screen size ranges from 10 to 10,9 inches if we pay attention to all the rumors that are on the net. Today a new report appears that narrows the range, ensuring that the new iPad "top of the range" will have a size between 10 and 10,5 inches.

Our "friend" and well-known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, assures that Apple will launch a completely new iPad with a screen size that will go up to 10,5 inches at most, but that it could be only 10, and that It will have the "top" specifications of the range, along with the 12,9-inch iPad Pro, such as the A10X processor manufactured by TSMC. This 10-inch model will have a new design with narrower frames. There will be another iPad, the 9,7-inch, which will remain as an entry model and will have the A9 processor manufactured by Samsung, and whose price will be more affordable than the previous two.

With this renewal, Kuo expects the fall in iPad sales to be less in 2017 than in 2016, leaving only a 10% drop in sales (in 2016 it was 20%). The iPad and iPhone start from very different positions. While the latter recently broke sales records and has begun its decline, which is interpreted as "apocalyptic" for many despite achieving astronomical figures that no manufacturer can even dream of, the Apple tablet that has already seen several quarters of continuous decline is in such a low position that any decrease in the drop in sales is already interpreted as a good thing. Despite everything, we cannot forget that the iPad is still the best-selling tablet in the world.
