We have been able to see some other analysis, of those that swarm the network with the launch of each new iPhone, and that rushed without sufficient scientific knowledge to affirm the fact that the lens of the iPhone 7 camera was not covered with glass made of sapphire, the same as supposedly the Home button. Nevertheless, this is a crystal that has been with the camera for quite some time, not to mention the Home button and its Touch ID, something that makes it almost necessary, since the glass could have too many imperfections in its base to allow a correct reading of the fingerprint. Goodbye to doubts, from Apple they have wanted to make it clear.
The marketing manager at Apple, Phil Schiller, a cornerstone in Apple's post-Jobs era, has stated from his Twitter account that all new iPhone models have sapphire crystal to reinforce the camera lens as well as the Home button. In this way he responded to Jamie (@Lunnzies) who asked him about these rumors. Apple is gaining more and more presence on social networks, not only because of the accounts of its executives, but also because it already has several Twitter and Instagram accounts to serve all its users.
@Lunnzies Not true. Camera lens cover and top of Home Button both Sapphire. #iPhone7

Schiller also responded to a question about why the iPhone 7 Plus sometimes uses digital x2 zoom instead of optical. According to the executive, this decision is made by the phone itself due to possible low light conditions, for which the digital zoom could give better results than the optical one (let me doubt it). Definitely, we are before the classic show of each launch, hilarious tests and analysis that contradict each other, but the reality is the same as always, the iPhone 7 is the most desired phone right now.
What Phil says is not true, watch the video of this youtuber: https://youtu.be/0vYfAqEyGV0
There is no sapphire anywhere on the iPhone 7, neither on the home button nor on the rear camera.
The headline lacks an accent.
