An iOS 15.6 is now available that motivates us to update our iPhone

Late yesterday afternoon Apple released the final version of iOS 15.6 after several betas, which we presume will be the last big update of iOS 15 since iOS 16 is just around the corner. iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 arrive after two months of the release of their respective versions 15.5.

We can already download iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 in the normal way, as we do it through the settings and the system update from our devices. Although yesterday we suffered some problem of slowdown in the download due to the high demand that the servers had to support, now the download is being more fluid. 

As we indicated and with iOS 16 already around our devices, Apple is closing the development of improvements with iOS 15 but that does not mean that iOS 15.6 does not invite us to an update. On the contrary. iOS and iPadOS 15.6 have a few new features and bug fixes that motivate an additional update to our devices.

The upgrade includes the option to restart, pause, rewind, or fast-forward live and live sports streams (on Apple TV) as well as Solve the bug where the settings application showed us that our storage was full when it was not.

All the news that Apple highlights about its latest operating system are the following:

• iOS 15.6 includes improvements, bug fixes, and security updates.
• The TV app adds the option to restart a live sports match already in progress and to pause, rewind or fast-forward.
• Fixed an issue where Settings may keep showing device storage is full even if it is available.
• Fixed an issue that may cause braille displays slow down or stop responding when navigating text in Mail.
• It solves a issue in Safari where a tab can go back to a previous page.

We have already decided to update to the latest version of iOS and iPadOS and it is that, despite the news that they bring we are not going to use them, it is always much safer for our devices to update any security improvements that are included. And at this Apple are the best.
