Surprise! Pangu releases jailbreak for iOS 9.1, only 64-bit devices

pangu jailbreak

The Chinese hacker team Pangu has just released an update to its tool to do the jailbreak to iOS 9 with support for iOS 9.1. I am convinced that when reading the previous sentence many of you are thinking that it is a waste to launch it for a version like iOS 9.1, but it is not like that. As they have explained later, Pangu9 v1.3.0 used a bug in the kernel that has already been fixed in iOS 9.2, so they have not wasted anything that could help them to launch a tool for a more updated or future version.

Unlike other occasions, this time the tool has been released for Windows and Mac at the same time. In the change list, Although the Mac version says that it is v1.3.0, it is actually 1.1.0 The Windows version is 1.3.0, but it has a more advanced numbering because it was also released much earlier. Below you have the list of news that comes with Pangu9 v1.3.0 (v1.1.0 on Mac).

List of new features included in Pangu 9 v1.3.0

  • Add support for devices with iOS 9.1 installed (64-bit only):
    • iPhone 6s
    • 6s iPhone Plus
    • iPhone 6
    • 6 iPhone Plus
    • iPhone 5s
    • iPad Air
    • iPad Air 2
    • iPad mini 4
    • iPad mini 3
    • iPad mini 2
    • iPad Pro
    • IPod Touch 6th generation?

If you have iOS 9.1 installed on your 64-bit device, you want to jailbreak it and you don't know how, you just have to visit our article Tutorial to jailbreak iOS 9.0-9.0.2, which logically now is up to iOS 9.1. You can download it from their website in.pangu.io Meanwhile, users with iOS 9.2-9.2.1 will still have to wait. With iOS 9.3 right around the corner, hacker teams most likely don't want to waste any exploits, as they have not done when launching this new tool. In addition, the next version of Apple's mobile operating system has already been shown to be vulnerable to jailbreak, so patience will be required.

Hi Keko Jones. What you say makes me happy 😉 Although there are many who will be left out, there were also chances that someone would have endured, although it must be recognized that the chances of this happening were low.

      A greeting.

The maxim is: Do not update. My idevice has brought the 9.1 from the factory and I have left it that way. And so I have done with all the apples that I have bought 😉 system that comes original, system that stays like this forever and they work that is nice 🙂

I am on 9.0.2, is there any way to update to 9.1?

Do not do it, stay in 9.0.2 that also has jail. I have that version on my iphone 6s with jail and it is total luxury

Currently Apple does not sign 9.1 so either you are on that FW currently or there is no way (simple or known) to install it even coming from 9.0.2. The easiest thing that can happen to you is that you stay halfway and have to restore to 9.2.1 without Jail

Hello, in my case I am in 8.3 I have a lot already ... with jail and it is going great, I am not going to update at all, if they launch a jail for 9.3 that is stable it is likely to update, if not I will stay in 8.3 forever. 😉

Never update, if you are happy with your mobile as it is, leave it like that and enjoy it forever
