Parrot is present at CES 2014 and today it has revealed its two new gadgets that will be available at the end of 2014 and that will delight fans of toys that we can control remotely. The first of them is him Parrot MiniDrone and the second is the Parrot Jumping Sumo, two very different toys that deserve to be treated individually in more depth.
El Parrot MiniDrone is a much smaller version of the current ARDrone 2.0 and it is also specially designed to be used indoors without any type of danger. To facilitate handling at home, the Parrot MiniDrone incorporates two large wheels on its sides that allow it to move freely on the floor, ceiling and walls. The autonomy of this quadcopter will be around 7 minutes and we have lost the camera that its older brother does have.
As to Parrot Jumping SumoIt is a land vehicle with a shock-resistant body that also incorporates a mechanism that allows it to perform jumps of up to 80 centimeters. In this case, we do have a small camera to record video or view what is in front of us from the device that controls it.
Parrot has not given more details or mentioned the full specifications of each of its toys, therefore, we have to wait for the company to reveal more data until the Parrot MiniDrone and Jumping Sumo reach the market. What we do know is that both can be controlled from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
