A couple of days ago PayPal.me launched a new payment service between people, similar to the one that is already operating in other countries such as Facebook, although only available in the United States, Square Cash or Venmo (owned by PayPal). Unlike the operation through email accounts of the traditional PayPal system, this new service consists of a permanent web address, under the paypal.me domain where we can send or receive money.
In order to create the address, first of all we must already be users of the PayPal service and access Paypal.me to create our own personalized web address to receive money. To give you an idea, if Actualidad iPad were to create an account on paypal.me it would take the following address http://www.paypal.me/actualidadipad to which users who wanted to collaborate would access to make the income. The form of payments is quite curious, since if we want to receive 20 euros from each of the members of a group, we will send the address http://www.paypal.me/actualdiadipad/20 to enter and make the deposit.
One of the advantages, as with other platforms, is that there is no type of commission between users, which makes it easy to send money quickly and safely, without fear of the famous commission charges that, for example, PayPal charges according to the type of money we send so far.
To be able to use this service, in addition to having a PayPal account it is necessary to reside in any of the 18 countries where it is available the electronic payment multinational: the United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
