Pebble launches a new watch with a circular design: Pebble Time Round

Pebble revolutionized the smartwatch market two years ago with the appearance of its first smartwatch on the Kickstarter platform. The company knew how to get ahead of large manufacturers such as Samsung, LG and Apple with an original and effective proposal that has been overshadowed by the launch of the Apple Watch. From Pebble they fought back a few months ago with the launch of the second generation of their smartwatch and today they surprise us with something totally new: a smart watch with a circular finish.

The new device has been dubbed Pebble Time Rounds and it is accompanied by a design that does not leave you indifferent. This new Pebble can boast of being one of the thinnest smartwatches on the market, at just 7,5mm thick. The watch is light and covered in metal, assimilating in this respect somewhat to the Pebble Time Steel and moving away from the traditional plastic that accompanies the cheaper Pebbles.

As for the battery, we cannot ask too much of such a fine watch. The Pebble Time can boast of lasting up to ten days on a single charge, however the new Pebble Time Round lags behind in this regard and will only offer us a two-day charge. The good news is that device charge will be fleeting: with only fifteen minutes we will obtain an autonomy of 24 hours.

The Pebble Time Round comes with a microphone so we can use voice commands (already available for Android and soon on iOS). Its screen is colored, an aspect in which Pebble has not wanted to take a step back.

The new Pebble smartwatch is available in several finishes and in this case the price increases until reaching the U.S. dollar 249.
