Plague Inc is a game for iPhone and iPad that has been liked a lot by millions of players around the world. Belonging to the strategy genre, our mission at Plague Inc is to create an epidemic that infects everyone in the world and, in turn, is serious enough to end humanity.
At the start of the game we will have to choose the epidemic type, being able to choose between seven different variants:
- B: it is the main cause of epidemics and its potential is unlimited.
- Virus: it is a very fast mutation pagan and very difficult to control
- Fungus: they are fungal spores that need special help to travel far
- Parasite: cannot get DNA from new infections
- Prion: it is a slow, subtle and very complex pathogen that hides in the brain
- Nanoviruses: it is a microscopic machine with an integrated safety switch
- Bioweapon: it is a lethal pathogen that kills everything it touches.
Each of these variants has three levels of difficulty that will make the game easier or more complicated than we would like.
Once the contagion method has been chosen, we have a map of the world and choose a country where the infection begins. It is advisable to avoid developed countries since they have methods to cure people and develop vaccines while in the less developed, the ideal conditions will be given for a much faster and more aggressive infection.
At the beginning we will be making very few people sick so we will have to evolve to our pandemic, for this, we have DNA points that will have to be invested in improving its potential of infection, severity or facility to cause death. These points will also have to be used to make the disease stronger against the development of vaccines and climates of different temperatures.
You have to invest the DNA points very wisely since They are limited and the game will only end in victory if we eradicate all life planet human. If the disease becomes very aggressive and kills people at a faster rate than it infects them, survivors will remain and we will not have achieved our goal.
Although with a slightly macabre theme, Plague Inc is a downright addictive game that hooks from the first minute of play, therefore, it is highly recommended.
