The original Plants vs. Zombies disappears from the App Store

When I bought my first iPhone I discovered that there were many quality games in the App Store. The problem with many of these games is that they offered either very complex controls for touch screens or they had been simplified too much (like in FIFA), but there were also other very fun and addictive games that could be played perfectly with little touch on the screen. That is the case with games like Plants vs. Zombies.

What can we say about such a famous game? Well, it is one of the favorites of any user and that, at least the original game, always had 5 stars in the App Store, even though it is a paid game. It seems that the latter is what its developer, PopCap, has wanted to change and has removed that original game from the Apple App Store. But only the paid version has disappeared; the "Free" version is still available.

We can no longer download Plants vs. Original zombies

What is the reason for this removal? Well at the moment we can only speculate but, if we take into account that the "Free" version is still available with in-app purchases and Plants vs. Zombies 2, we can think that PopCap has succeeded in launching a free game with in-app purchases, that is, they earn more money with a "Freemium" game than with a paid game, so only They would have left in the App Store those games with which they hope to get more benefits.

As a curious fact, Plants vs. Original and paid zombies is still available on Google Play. We can speculate on this too, but iOS users are known to spend more money on apps than Android users and hack less. That could be the reason why, in this case, PopCap has removed a game for us, so that we continue to pay them. In my case, they wait seated.
