There are 10 days left until the episode of "Solo: A Star Wars Story." When it comes to Han Solo, we will be filled with excitement with the Millennium Falcon and, of course, with the famous holographic chess.
Disney, by surprise, has updated its application Star Wars: Jedi Challenges with a Star Wars holochess mode.
This application was created to be enjoyed with the augmented reality equipment manufactured by Lenovo. It consists of the Lenovo Mirage AR, the lightsaber controller and the tracking beacon. It costs € 199, and is necessary for everything, except for the new holochess.
Holochess makes use of ARKit, so with our compatible iPhone it is more than enough to enjoy the 18 levels of holochess. Includes 6 planets and 8 creatures. Of course, the creatures are the same as the ones we saw in Episode IV.
The game per se it is not properly a chess. Saving the distances - since it is holographic and the tiles are monsters from another galaxy - the same game is not always played, with the same figures, etc. Holochess is played by levels, each time more complex. I've gotten stuck in a particularly complex one that, no matter what strategy I use, I can't win.
Personally, I would have preferred - or had always imagined - that Holochess was like the chess we know (and, since they are the most freaky, like Magic Chess), in which all the games begin
in the same way.
Si eres fan de Star Wars, esta aplicación es una descarga obligada. Playing Holo-chess is completely free and you are sure to enjoy a good time trying, with the help of Star Wars, the augmented reality of your iPhone.
It is up to you if you decide to buy all the accessories to enjoy the rest of Star Wars: Jedi Challenges. If you do, write in the comments! And remember, let the wookie win.
