Possible attack on the networks of Telefonica, Vodafone, BBVA and Santander

In the absence of official confirmation from those affected, everything seems to indicate that Telefónica, Vodafone, BBVA and Banco Santander could be the victims of a massive attack on their networks that would be compromising the security of all their systems. The attack could be so important that according to some sources inside the telephone company, the company gave the order to turn off the computers to all its employees to avoid greater evils.

The notice to employees has been practically immediate and employees were asked to urgently turn off their computers and disconnect any electronic device from their internal network. According to the company itself, it said in a message that has been published on social networks but has subsequently been deleted, malware had been installed on your network and compromised files and data of everyone who was connected to that network, urging all recipients of the message to warn all their colleagues of the enormous risk and to proceed to follow the instructions given.

This attack could have extended to other companies, according to what we can read on social networks, such as Banco Santander and BBVA, as well as Vodafone. At the moment we do not have official confirmation from any of the possible affected, and the data only comes from the messages that can be read on social networks, so all the information will have to be quarantined until we know the official version of events.
