Possible dates of WWDC 2018

WWDC 2017

Around this time last year, Apple announced its main annual event, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The conference welcomes thousands of developers each year and, although there is no official announcement, everything indicates that it will take place June 4-8, 2018 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. The conference usually takes place in June, and the rest of the weeks of that month are already reserved, so there would be no more possibilities.

Apple seems to repeat the scenario in San Jose, discarding the possibility of hosting the WWDC in Apple Park. The return to San Jose, after so many years, allows guests and Apple employees to be much closer to the new campus (about 10 km).

This year we hope to see the presentation of a iOS 12 focused on improving performance Apple's mobile operating system, causing many to call it the "Snow Leopard of iOS." On the Mac side, we await the arrival of macOS 10.14 (and a new name). And, also, we can expect the presentation of a Watch 5 -how time passes- for the Apple Watch, as well as a TvOS 12 for Apple TV. Also, there are always announcements and news about other aspects of the software, like HealthKit.

We can dream of the presentation or sneak peak of the new Mac Pro, of which we already know its existence, and the intention of being a new concept of Mac Pro, less similar to the "trash can" and more similar to the old ones, as it is more modular.

Despite the fact that the last Keynote have brought with them the presentation of some hardware product, we are still in February 2018, so one more presentation possible before WWDC. New iPads or the rumored iPhone SE 2 are the candidates for this possible presentation in March before WWDC.
