Made entirely of plastic, this case completely protects our iPhone, even the screen. Of course, it means an increase in size and thickness, but nothing especially significant, and it is very light so the already heavy iPhone 12 Pro Max will not increase its weight. Its installation is very simple, without the need for any tools, and you just have to be careful that the rubber that closes the seal of the case is well when we place the back cover.

It has protection for the rear camera, a silicone cover for the Lightning connector (with a spare in the box), and different membranes at strategic points that allow, for example, that we can continue to listen to the speakers of our iPhone without problems. The volume and power buttons are pressed a little harder, but nothing remarkable, and for the Catalyst mute switch features its signature wheel system, something that I love about its covers because they allow you to use it even with ski gloves.

The aesthetic result when placing the cover is quite good, I really like the back cover with that semi-transparent finish, and something that has surprised me very pleasantly is how the front plastic is barely noticeable. It's not like a screen protector, but Catalyst has greatly improved how its clear plastic sheet is placed on our screen. It generates a little more reflections in the sunlight, but the handling of the screen is practically identical to when you are not wearing a cover, and it is not noticeable as detached from the screen, there is no space between the protective sheet and the front glass of our iPhone. In fact, Catalyst recommends that you do not use a screen protector with your case, a sign that the fit is very exact. The only negative point: we lose MagSafe, although the wireless charging works perfectly.

Ideal to take it to the beach, swimming pool, skiing or sports activities in which dust and water can be a problem for your iPhone, or possible falls, this case can save you more than one scare. Catalyst for Apple Watch

Catalyst offers us an all-in-one for our Apple Watch with a protective case that includes the straps. With this cover we will obtain water resistance up to 100 meters deep, resistance to falls of up to 2 meters high and the possibility of disinfecting it using suitable products. As with the iPhone case, We do it without losing any functionality of our Apple Watch, except in the models with ECG that is disabled. The heart rate and even the oxygen saturation are measured as usual, and of course you can continue using the usual chargers.

Compatible with Apple Watch from Series 4 onwards (specific models for the 40 and 44mm), its installation is simple although we will need a small screwdriver to be able to place and remove it, of course included in the box. The case consists of a silicone case with which we "dress" our Apple Watch (I have put it with a screen protector without problems), a front frame and a rear frame that we must put together and finish fixing with the small screw that we mentioned. .

With the case on, the only thing that is exposed on the Apple Watch is the screen, even the lower sensor is covered by that first silicone case. The side button has a very good pulsation, and the crown can be turned as usual, although you will not notice that fluid and precise movement of the original crown. The straps included in the cover are of good quality, very comfortable and resistant, and with the typical width of sports straps, to go well with a bulky case like this one. The closure system is the traditional one, and it works as it should.

The user experience with this case is very good. The only thing you notice is that the crown is somewhat harder, the rest works as if you were not wearing anything. The screen is not affected, because it is free, and you can hear the speaker perfectly, you can use the microphones, etc.. The Apple Watch acquires, yes, a rougher design, very sporty, that some will like and others will not, but what is undoubted is what you gain in protection.
