Publishers are not entirely convinced by Apple's proposal for Apple News subscriptions

Apple News

If one of the most talked about news is the possible launch of Apple's streaming video service, now we get news about that rumored news subscription service. A service that would be integrated into Apple News and that would allow publishers provide us with quality editorial content at a low price. Of course, it seems that Apple will not have easy to reach the agreement, the publishers want more benefits than those proposed from Cupertino ... After the jump we give you all the details of this new controversy.

Apparently the Apple plans go through making us pay 10 dollars a month, Apple would keep half of this income and the rest, the other 50%, would be distributed among the publishers who publish their news through this Apple News. Obviously here is the problem, if the record companies have gone through the hoop, as well as the companies everything is said, the publishers are not going to make it so easy for Apple. These are also interested in different subscription types that unlock different types of content for subscribers. Discussions that in my point of view will end in agreements since if there is anyone interested in new business models, these are the News Editors due to the drop in sales of paper publications.

I think in that possible Keynote for March 25 (Remember that it is not yet confirmed) we may see news about Apple News. A Keynote in which we will surely see new devices among which could be new iPads, the new AirPods, and news regarding the digital services of the apple company. Let's remember that digital services are an important leg for Cupertino's profits, and increasing subscriptions, as everything seems to be pointing, will undoubtedly increase Cupertino's profits. Of course, we will see if the publishers, or distributors in the case of video, go through the hoop to offer us quality content that makes us want to subscribe to these new services.
