If you've ever played Cut the Rope, then you'll meet Om nom. This is a nice character that we can now turn into our virtual pet thanks to the game My Om Nom.
The truth is that My Om Nom has been slow to come true but it is understandable. The ZeptoLab character has a lot of personality and has managed to amuse us in all the installments of the puzzle game. Because of this, the developer could not play it wrong and remove the appeal that is so hard to achieve. As a novelty in this aspect, Om Nom has a female variant and it's called Om Nelle.
Beyond the gender of the character that we can select as soon as we start, My Om Nom allows us take care of this pet virtually, being able to interact with her and her environment in very varied ways. The approach is very similar to Pou, having to get stars to level up and have more items to buy.
In My Om Nom the minigames could not be missing either with which to have a fun time and speed up the obtaining of points. A little more variety is missing as we only have two games available right now. One is a puzzle and the other consists of mounting Om Nom in a spaceship whose flight height we have to control to prevent it from colliding with any obstacle.
In addition to playing, we will also have to complete a series of missions and objectives of all kinds. At the beginning they will be very simple but as we progress, it will be more difficult to overcome them because the requirements become more demanding.
After trying My Om Nom for several days, it can be said that the game is quite good and serves the purpose of entertaining. It is necessary that in future updates they add more elements and minigames to be more complete and hook a more adult audience since, as it is conceived now, children will be the ones who most enjoy this virtual pet.
Another downside is its price and that is 4,49 euros may be excessive taking into account that except for Om Nom, the game does not bring absolutely anything new to the App Store.
