Satechi Trio Wireless, the all-in-one charger you need

We tested the Satechi Trio Wireless charger, a wireless charging dock for your iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch that includes everything you need, with a great design and first-class materials.

Satechi offers us a single charging base to cover all your needs: iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch. And it does so by including everything you need in the box, without small print. Do you need a powerful charger so that you can recharge all three devices at full power? Well, one of 24W Power Delivery is included and that's it. Do you need a USB-C to USB-C cable to get the power to the base? Well we also include it. There are no surprises here, in the box of this Trio Wireless base there is absolutely everything you need to make it work from the first moment, you will even find adapters for sockets from different countries.

But it is also that the base has a good design and is made of top quality materials. Aluminum body, to give it solidity, and the top in matt black plastic to complete a design that will fit perfectly wherever you want to place the base: your desk, a nightstand or wherever you need to place this base that will solve with a single plug your daily recharges of your favorite devices. The included 24W charger is distributed to recharge your iPhone with a power of 7,5W (the maximum if MagSafe technology is not used), the AirPods with 5W and the Apple Watch with 2,5W. You will not have any problem for all three to recharge simultaneously. By the way, it is an ideal charger to take you on any trip thanks to the adapters that are included in the box.

As you can see in the video, the base has silicone protections to take care of the glass surface of your iPhone and the metal frame of your Apple Watch, also preventing them from sliding on the plastic surface. Four silicone feet give the base a good grip on whatever surface you place it on, in addition to preventing damage. Three LEDs positioned at the top light up indicating which device is charging, and USB-C on the back to connect the cable that goes to the wall charger.

The charging disk of the Apple Watch pivots, so it will serve us with any strap that we use since we can place our Smartwatch in a vertical and horizontal position, according to our need or preference. In the central space we find the place reserved to recharge the AirPods. SAirPods with wireless charging box and AirPods Pro, with or without a protective case are compatible. You can also recharge other headphones compatible with wireless charging, as you can see in the video.

In terms of compatibility with smartphones, anyone with a wireless charge can recharge on this base, with or without a cover. Be careful with cases that have metal parts, which are never recommended with wireless charging due to overheating of the phone, and also the base can detect it as a “foreign object” and stop recharging the devices.
