Let's see if they hit the key: Apple launches a new version of iOS 9.3 to solve the activation failure

iOS 9.3

It seems that Apple can not find the key to solve the problems caused with the arrival of iOS 9.3. After releasing a version that was supposed to fix activation problems on old devices, of which the most affected is the iPad 2, those from Cupertino have returned to release an iOS 9.3 version to see if, once and for all, this problem that can leave an iPad as a nice ornament and unusable disappears.

To be honest, this release took me by surprise. Although it is true that we are all waiting for the release of iOS 9.3.1 to at least solve the problem that some users are experiencing when tapping on links from some applications, I have been doing other things and it has caught me offside. It could be said that this release is more important, since it leaves devices that cannot be activated totally unusable, but we could not rule out an arrival of iOS 9.3.1 that has not occurred.

Will Apple get iOS 9.3 to work properly?

Users who have not been able to activate their device after installing iOS 9.3 should restore their device with iTunes. To do this, it is best to perform the following process:

  1. We turn off the iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone that could not be activated.
  2. We connect the Lightning or 30-pin cable to it.
  3. We press the start button.
  4. Without releasing the start button, we connect the other end of the cable to the computer.
  5. We will see the iTunes symbol on the screen of the iPad, iPod Touch or iPad. iTunes will tell us that it has detected a device in recovery mode and that it needs to be restored. We accept and restore the device.

Do not hesitate to leave in the comments if Apple has already managed to find this key at least. Maybe tomorrow they will launch a new version of iOS, which everything seems to indicate that it would be iOS 9.3.1, and these two very serious problems are solved for a company of the stature of Apple. Let's hope so.

These things with Steve Jobs did not happen, it does not matter that they take 20 betas there will be failures. It is true that now there are more iPhones on the street than 5 years ago, but before so many betas were not released.

I don't like Tim Cook as CEO, since he came in he lost all the magic of Apple.

Hi, I have an iPhone 5s and it has iOS 9.3 installed from the day it was released (version 13E233). I have to say that I had no problem installing. What I have noticed is that I have a considerably higher battery consumption compared to 9.2.1. When I read the news, I saw that a new version of iOS 9.3 had been released, and when I entered settings-general-software update, it appears as "available" to download iOS 9.3, the size of which is 1,4 GB.
My question is, if I already have that same version installed (9.3), why do you suggest that I install it again? It had never happened to me, and I don't know what to do.
I appreciate your help in advance.

Because the 9.3 released first had errors and this one that appears again corrects those errors

The same question, this update weighs too much 1.4 gb, and I have the same drawback, the battery consumes too much compared to the previous version,

Hi… I wanted to lose you, help me. I have an iPhone 5S that downloaded the 9.3 update but not installed it due to activation problems… Now with the update downloaded, I should wait for the 9.3.1 to be released… ??? or will I have to resort to restore from PC

    1.    iRuix said

Yes, in order to correct the failure that iOS 9.3 had but if you were not one of those whose team presented failures, you can choose to leave it and wait for another more current iOS to arrive or if you decide to go to iOS 9.3.1 nothing happens, they are just lucky bug repair

Good afternoon Diego hopes the update will arrive via OTA and when you have the iOS9.3.1 you download this if you want to update the device remember that Apple is no longer signing 9.2.1 luck….

Good afternoon brenda, only with your internet provider you check your type of speed and if it is not lower than what you have contracted and if you do not contract a higher package and then if it remains the same, configure your PC for better performance

    Hello such
I have the same problem as Nelson, the truth is that I no longer know what to do I ran out of cell phone I want to kill myself ...
The problem started a few days ago when I realized that I had no signal, it appeared without service, I went to the mobile company (of course Argentina) and they changed the chip and they tried it on another computer and it raised signal without problems that is when they told me that the problem was with the equipment (iPhone 5s)
I got home and started to search the internet for what to do, first I restored the network configuration but nothing happened so I opted to restore the iPhone,
The issue is that now I can not activate it tells me that it is impossible to activate the iPhone:
"The iPhone could not be activated because the activation service cannot be accessed"
I also tried to activate it with iTunes but it throws an error.
Please help someone please tell me how to fix it

Hello friend Nicolás, I am sorry to tell you that I could not solve the problem, I tried everything until I put it in DFU mode to restore it to the factory and nothing, my luck was that it was still under warranty and I took it to an Apple Store they reviewed it and neither did they They could activate it and they changed it for a new one!
