Snapchat has announced that improvements are coming that will change the way users use their social network. At this time we do not know what new ways we will have to interact with the photos, videos and messages that our followers or friends send us, but the first step that Snapchat has taken will allow us get new followers more easily.
Until now, being able to advertise our Snapchat accounts has been quite difficult, since we could only do it by sharing our username, something that leads to complications, especially in the case of complex nicknames. Another option to share our usernames was to use QR codes. Well, this has all changed since the last update, in which Snapchat starts offering URLs too.
This means that we can copy and paste the link to our profiles, so it will be much easier to get new followers. From now on we can share, on other social networks, our url to snapchat and users can directly access the profiles and start following us. Once someone clicks on the URL, it will try to open in Safari and then a message will appear warning us that the Snapchat app will open.
