Shortcuts comes to the iOS App Store and permanently replaces Workflow

We come a long time ago talking about Shortcuts, the new application with which Apple wants to make Siri smarter and, incidentally, make your iOS system more productive if that is possible. Now we have the application available in the iOS App Store Shortcuts that has definitively replaced Workflow, the workflow app that Apple bought just over a year ago. In fact, this move by the Cupertino company is starting to make more sense now than ever. Therefore, if you want to know what Siri is capable of, start doing your "first steps" with Shortcuts from iOS.

We remind you that the use of Shortcuts It is not going to be anything but a breeze, despite the fact that many workflows will be shared, at the moment it is complex to use, since it is an interactive way of programming. We have to add one by one the functionalities that we want the specific application to do and then assign it a predetermined phrase that invoking Siri makes the workflow run. This all sounds pretty complicated… right? Well, don't worry because in the coming weeks we will bring you to Actualidad iPhone the best shortcuts.

The new Shortcuts app lets you create personal shortcuts that perform multi-step actions with a simple tap or by asking Siri.

* Add shortcuts to Siri to run only with your voice.
* New actions are available from apps that support Siri shortcuts.
* Send and request payments with Apple Pay and your favorite apps using the new payments actions.
* Run custom scripts in Safari with the new action "Run JavaScript on web page".
* The Shortcuts app replaces the Workflow app, so all existing workflows in that app will be imported automatically.
* The interface design has been updated.

In the meantime you can take advantage of those available on Sharecuts. Although for now the cast is quite small and I have to say that I have tried to create my own workflow with which Siri runs Spotify for me and dedicates itself to running my favorite playlist and it has been totally impossible. The application Needless to say, it is available for free on the iOS App Store from now on.

I have not updated to ios 12 yet, I have looked for shortcuts in the appstore and when I downloaded it, workflow was installed

Being on iOS 11, when you go to download the app you get a message that says: "The current version requires iOS 12.0 or later, but you can download the latest compatible version."

I understand that with iOS 11 you download the latest Workflow and with iOS12 you already download Shortcuts.
The message that pops up is for something, not to give OK.
