Skin and protection for your iPhone with Nomad

With the prices that are handled at the time of any repair of our iPhone, the protection of our smartphone is essential. Yes, its design is a pity that it has to be hidden, but better safe than sorry. What we can do is protect it, but at least do it with good taste, and nothing better than a good leather case for it.

Nomad Rugged Case

It is one of the classic Nomad cases, available for previous iPhone models and of course also for the new iPhone 11 and 11 Pro this year. Horween leather is a guarantee in terms of durability and has a really pleasant touch. Its appearance is very premium and the finishes of the case are so well cared for, with a line of union between the skin and the bumper that is practically imperceptible, that you almost forget that you are hiding the beautiful design of the iPhone Pro.

The secret is in the combination of materials: a polycarbonate body, a TPE bumper and Horween leather on the entire back of the case, leaving the interior with a microfiber coating that will protect the delicate glass surface of your iPhone. With this we get a set that will protect your iPohen from falls of up to two meters in height, thanks to the bumper that covers the entire frame, including the bottom where the speakers and the Lightning connector are.

This Rugged Case does not add too much thickness to your iPhone, although it is not the thinnest, in return protects both the triple lens of the rear camera and the screen by having an edge that protrudes or enough so that you can place it on any surface without fear of scratching the screen. Another very important detail is the buttons, which have a rough surface that identifies them to the touch and they are pressed very easily, maintaining the "click" of the push. At the bottom, right in the slits of the speaker and microphone, we find two grips where we can place a strap for the wrist or neck.

Active Rugged Case

The other case that Nomad has launched specifically for the new iPhone 11 and 11 Pro is the Active Rugged Case, which shares with the previous one all the specifications in terms of quality of materials, protection against falls and finishes. But it has a different skin: waterproof Heinen skin. It is a rather peculiar skin, whose appearance is nothing like conventional leather, at least the one we are used to having in mobile cases, it does not even "smell like leather", but yes, it has a fantastic touch .

Worse, make no mistake, it is not a case that adds water resistance to your iPhone, but the case itself is water resistant. That is, the skin will not spoil if you wet it, but your iPhone is sure having exactly the same protection against liquids that it has without the case, it does not add anything extra. Personally, it is the case that I like the most of the two, It seems to me a more modern and sporty look, although this is a very personal opinion.
