A little over a week ago we were talking about new design of the Spotify app for iOS. An update that brought us a new way of viewing the podcasts that we follow through the Spotify app in order to make our lives easier and make Spotify our favorite app when listening to podcasts. Now everything goes through the tab «Your library», there we will have the possibility to choose between our music, or our podcast.
But it seems that this is not liking everyone, and it is that After the update, some other section that was interesting for more than one user has been lost. What happens then? well what these users those who don't like him redesign they complain through the networks and They begin to consider moving to Apple Music, the streaming music service of the Cupertino guys. After the jump we give you all the details of this controversial change.
And is that Reddit is on fireMany users are reporting the horror of this change and asking for the ransom of the previous version. And the complaints are rightly ... We have lost the Songs section, and the Recently Listened section ... Very useful sections, especially the Songs section since in it we could save any song that we liked without having to go through the playlists. Oh yeah, We have also lost the alphabetical scroll that we had to search for songs in playlists. A disaster go ...
We will see how Spotify responds to criticism, I am one of those who stay but the truth is that they have to move quickly to avoid the stampede to Apple Music. And you, What do you think of this change to the Spotify app to highlight podcasts? Does change make life easier for you? Would you move to Apple Music for this change in the Spotify app?
Hello Karim,
I am reviewing the changes in the application:
1. Heard recently, it remains. In the "Home" tab.
2. The tab "your library" where it says "Your likes" are all songs without the need to belong to a list.
3. It continued to have the field to filter by name and at the same time the digital button that allows me to sort the list or songs based on "relevance, recently listened, name and custom order" is maintained. I do not see the "disaster" you comment.
4. In relation to Podscasts, the new section is fine although it has never meant to me to follow the programs that interest me.
To be honest, I like the change. In fact, I always really like the redesigns that they do from Spotify.
Greetings.
It is tremendous, little or not at all intuitive, difficult to understand, it makes listening to music torture. I believe that we will be millions of music lovers that we will move tab and we will not go to Apple Music. It's a shame!!!
