Sonic CD, a SEGA classic as app of the week

Sonic CD

7 days have passed again and, like every Thursday, we already have a new one app of the week. This time we have a game again, but one of those that are worth it. Is about Sonic CD, a title that surely makes those users more excited that we were able to play it at the beginning of the 90s on the SEGA Meda Drive, which was for me the best console of the Japanese video game company.

How could it be otherwise for its title, the protagonist of Sonic CD is the famous hedgehog who is also SEGA's mascot. The enemy we will have to defeat is the infamous Dr. Robotnik, who wants to take over the time stones or "Time Stones". To achieve this, the Machiavellian doctor has a plan: to kidnap the hedgehog Amy Rose to prevent Sonic from moving forward. But this will not be the only problem that our blue hero will have to face.

Metal Sonic, the unexpected enemy from Sonic CD

Dr. Robotnik has managed to create one of the most dangerous robots he has ever created in his entire life. This is Metal Sonic, a replica of Sonic that has been designed to match all the abilities of the blue hedgehog and even be faster than him, so the objective is clear: to get the time stones to ensure a hopeful future, defeat Metal Sonic and his creator Robotnik and save Amy Rose.

Personally, I have never been a big fan of the 64-bit versions of Sonic because I had the 8-bit Master System II, but I have already taken advantage of the fact that Sonic CD will be free for a week to download the game and link it to my Apple ID. What do you think of this game that was released for the first time in 1993?
