Sonos presents its new Sonos Move, to enjoy sound away from home

Sonos wants us to enjoy our music anywhere, and that's why they just introduced their new Sonos Move, a speaker that proves that portability doesn't have to be at odds with quality. With its ten hours of autonomy, its IP56 certification and compatibility with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, it's the first Sonos that doesn't have to be plugged in to work.

In addition, he has also presented a new Sonos One SL, no microphones for those who move on from virtual assistants, and the new Sonos Port, the successor to the Sonos Connect to bring the smart sound of Sonos to traditional stereos. We give you the details below.

Sonos Move

A smart speaker designed to be anywhere, inside or outside your home. It is a Sonos, which means that it is added to your entire previous system, and that it enjoys all the functions available in its application, and that the sound quality is beyond doubt. Two class-D amplifiers, a downward-directed tweeter and a built-in mid-woofer guarantee a sound experience at the level of what Sonos has accustomed us to. Of course is compatible with AirPlay 2, and you can add Alexa or Google Assistant, as you prefer, so that with its four microphones you can handle it with your voice.

But it has other unique features, such as the integrated battery that gives it an autonomy of 10 hours in operation, up to 120 hours in standby. It is recharged via USB-C or with the included charging base, so that you can always have it in its base and simply take it to enjoy the sound in another location. And if you take it where your WiFi does not reach, don't worry, because you can connect your device via Bluetooth. Its price is € 399 and it is available only in black. You can now reserve it and it will be available from September 24 in Spain and Mexico, in addition to the United States and other European countries.

Sonos One SL and Sonos Port

Sonos has not wanted to forget about those who do not want a virtual assistant in their speaker, and although in all their products it is something that can be deactivated, even mute the microphone, why pay more for something that you are not going to use? So has submitted Sonos One SL, which is a Sonos One without a virtual assistant for € 199 which will be available from September 12.

And finally, Sonos Port has also shown us, the update of its Sonos Connect, which serves to expand the Sonos system to traditional stereos and receivers. Its price is € 399 and will be available from September 12 on a limited basis, with full availability from January 2020.
