The creators of SoundHound have once again surprised the App Store with an application for iOS. This application will endeavor to provide users with quick results to their voice searches in a way that literally leaves Siri in diapers. It uses an interface very similar to the one we can find in Google Now, simple, using cards and incredibly intuitive. We present this powerful virtual voice assistant that aims to become the definitive replacement for Siri, and the incredible thing is that it could achieve it, the results are simply fantastic.
Siri's problem has always been the same, it literally falls short. It is unfortunate to know that Siri has been with us on iOS since the arrival of the iPhone 4s and we are still waiting for it to perform really interesting tasks. Currently I only give it two uses, setting alarms and activating the "energy saving" mode. Meanwhile we see how true Siri competitors are coming to the market, Cortana and Google Now have already taken the colors out of Siri, and to top it off, now we have Hound.
It is currently not available in the Spanish App Store, however it is already in the US App Store, but sooner or later it will arrive. Analysts Wired y Wall Street Journal They have already praised the skills of this virtual voice assistant, so we will be attentive to its arrival at the App Store in Spain to use it, meanwhile you can download it by changing the region of your device to the United States, but only in English. Perhaps it is the translation into Spanish that is delaying its arrival in our App Store. The video that shows its comparison with Google Now is simply fantastic, so this new assistant promises a lot, we will see if it becomes popular or not.
Hi miguel. Saying that you use Siri only for two things may happen to you because you do not know the potential of Siri and lack of habit. I use it daily to create reminders, make appointments, make calls, kitchen timer, search the internet, and much more. Also now with the arrival of HomeKit I use it much more than before. I am used to its use and I spend a lot of work when I am in a place where I do not have connectivity.
