The Spark mail client is updated with important news

Spark

Spark has become, together with Outlook, one of the email clients preferred by many millions of users. A good part of the fault is that both are free and allow us to perform an endless number of functions that are also available in paid clients in the App Store.

Spark was updated a month ago becoming a universal application, so that we can now make use of this application on our iPad, a highly anticipated option especially for those users who only use Spark on both the iPad and the iPhone.

Spark, like most email clients for iOS, allows us to add Google, Exchange, Yahoo, iCloud, Outlook and other IMAP or POP3 accounts. I have always recommended use third-party applications that allow us to check email online, especially for terminals that have 16 Gb of storage space or less, since they hardly store data in the terminal, just the opposite of what happens with the Mail application.

What's new in Spark version 1.6.1

  • Snooze and batch anchor. This has undoubtedly been one of the functions that many users were waiting for. Fortunately, just like in Outlook, developers listen to user suggestions.
  • Synchronization of quick responses. Since the last update, Spark allows us to synchronize the email accounts with all the devices where we have the application installed. But the quick answers weren't in the sync options until now.
  • Complications for the Apple Watch. New complications have been added for our Apple Watch, although the operation on the Apple smartwatch is still somewhat slow and they should improve the speed.
  • Bug fixes and small improvements. As usual, every time a new update is released, users tend to report small errors on a day-to-day basis, these errors have been fixed, but surely new ones appear that will be fixed in future versions.

Dear, that I know it does not support POP, can you confirm that? I recently read on your page that it was not compatible.

      5.2. POP3 protocol support
Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) is a mail protocol, which is not currently supported in Spark. In order to configure connection with your mail account you will have to set up IMAP / SMTP Access
