Spotify offers numerous ways to access your Premium Music subscription. The traditional subscription, for students, for the family, combos with other services, such as PlayStation or Hulu, and even offers with operators.
But now, has started to offer a subscription for just two people in some countries, at a reduced price.
The Spotify service, Premium Duo, wants to bring two accounts to Spotify Premium for couples who live together and do not have children or other family in the same household with whom to share the six accounts that Spotify Premium Family offers.
Of course, As there are two accounts and not six, the price is also reduced. At the moment, this subscription has only been seen available in Poland, Colombia, Denmark, Chile and Ireland. The price in euros in Ireland it's € 12,49 per month (Remember that Spotify Premium Family is € 14,99 per month and the normal one for an account, € 9,99 per month).
An interesting offer and we hope to see how it expands to other countries and other services. Maybe Apple Music brings out a similar offer if Spotify finally takes it to the whole world.
As an addition to Spotify Premium Duo, Spotify has introduced Duo Mix. An automatically generated playlist that combines the music that you and your partner like when you use Premium Duo. An interesting novelty to avoid fighting over who plays music in the car.
In addition, In the mobile app we can increase the rhythm (Upbeat) or put a calmer rhythm (Chill) for this playlist and so the songs that are played will change to fit the moment.
Of course, as we can already do with anyone, we can create a collaborative playlist between the two Premium Duo members and add the songs that we want manually.
