Users Square will be able to update their card readers credit for iOS devices for free. This has been confirmed by the company this week, as it has recently launched a new, improved version of its payment system, which has become fashionable among freelancers and small businesses in the United States. The main benefits of this company, which the reader offered for free from the beginning, come from the percentage of commissions charged on each of the transactions carried out.
This new thinner and lighter reader was redesigned last year by Jesse Dorogusker, a former employee of Apple's hardware department. The reader continues to perform the same functions, but is now more comfortable for its users. The new device is a 45% thinner than its predecessor which, by the way, will no longer receive official support from the company.
Any Square customer who wants upgrade your credit card reader for free, you can do so by accessing the control panel of your account. There you will find a section to request it.
"The new reader works better," says Square in an official email sent to its users. Anyone who uses the old reader will have until the next June 1 to update to the new one. After that period, the previous reader will stop working.
