The news has been published in a post written by Ted Kremenek, Apple's Senior Manager of Language Fonts, reporting on the development process of the third version of the programming language that Apple presented at WWDC 2014, a keynote that was very popular. to the developers, so much so that they assured that it was the best since the 2008 keynote in which they presented the App Store.
Swift 3.0 will be a major update to Apple's programming language. In fact, it contains fundamental changes to Swift's standard library and language, so your font is not supported with Swift 2.2.x, the latest version that has been released. On the other hand, Swift Package Manager will support the development and distribution of cross-platform packages for the first time.
