AirPods will hit the market in December but in small quantities

AirPods

A couple of days ago we echoed a news that came from Germany, exactly from the reseller Conrad, who assured that the new AirPods will begin to be available on November 17, a date that Apple has not confirmed at any time. But it seems that this date is not correct, at least that is what emerges from the latest report from Barclays, who assures that the production of this device will begin at the beginning of December, so that throughout the month of December, we could begin enjoy these wireless headphones from Apple.

Before the end of October, the month scheduled for the arrival of the new AirPods, the Cupertino-based company announced that they needed a little more time to be able to launch this new product to the market, without specifying at any time a specific date. If the production of the AirPods has not yet started and it is expected that early December, everything seems to indicate that Apple will do everything possible to make them available for this Christmas, at least for a few privileged ones, since the units would be very limited.

As stated in its latest Barclays report, initial production would be between 10 and 15 million units. Depending on demand, the shipping date is likely to quickly start to extend in a manner similar to that of new iPhone models. At the moment we do not know if Apple's plans are to offer AirPods in a first initial batch worldwide or due to the low stock they will have, their availability will be limited geographically, as Apple did with previous iPhone models, already that at the launch of the iPhone 7, Apple chose to offer it in a large number of countries together from day one.
