The sky became quite dark with the latest beta of iOS 9.3 for developers, in this fourth beta users quickly discovered that the functionality of the Appel Pencil was greatly diminished. The Apple Pencil could always be used to navigate through iOS since its launchHowever, this came to an end with iOS 9.3 Beta 4, something that has not satisfied users much. On the other hand, this movement by Apple should not have much significance since betas are something focused by and for developers. However, we bring you good news about this topic.
Apple has explained that it is working on how to improve navigation with the pencil and has therefore decided to temporarily block the usual navigation of the Apple Pencil.
We believe that the finger will always be the primary way users should navigate on the iPad, but we understand that some customers prefer to use the Apple Pencil for this task, so we are working on how to better apply this compatibility, something that we will include in the next beta. That is, in iOS 9.3 Beta 5 this new user interface will arrive through the Apple Pencil.
There are many navigation tasks that the Apple Pencil cannot carry out, for example displaying the Notification Center, the Control Center and multitasking. Perhaps that is why Apple has wanted to root out this alleged problem. Instead, it seems that Apple is going to invest time and money in developing a nice interface for that tool that the great Steve Jobs hated so much, Yes, we are talking about the Stylus, because we remember that if we can navigate through the user interface, the Apple Pencil will become a Stylus by default.
We have to wait for the next beta of iOS 9.3, probably at least two weeks, to know how Apple has decided to hit the table on this issue.
