The Apple Store app allows you to use Touch ID to authenticate payments for purchases

Apple offers all users the Apple Store application within the iOS ecosystem, an application with which we can buy any device from the Cupertino guys from our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch without having to visit the website. As well allows us to know at all times the status of our order.

Apple has just released a new update to this application adding support for Touch ID to identify that payments are made with our Apple ID, as long as we do not use Apple Pay to make payments, option that is also available in countries where this technology is available.

The Apple Store has always allowed us to make purchases with the credit card associated with our Apple ID, but users they were forced to enter their password to authenticate that we are the rightful owners terminal and by extension of the account to which it is associated. Now, it is no longer necessary to have to enter the password, since we only have to place our finger on the Touch ID.

To make payments with the method that we have associated with our Apple ID, we have to click on Buy with other forms of payment. But this update not only brings us this novelty, but also, according to Apple, it will allow us to quickly know if the iPhone we are looking for is in the Apple Store closest to our location.

Apple always has taken it very calmly when updating its applications adding the functions that are already available to developers, we do not know why, but this aspect of Apple has always attracted negative attention. If you do not have this application installed on your device, you can download it for free through the link that I leave below.
