The big business generated by iPhone accessories

Not only Apple benefits every time it releases new devices. And it is that around the apple company there are many other companies that work thanks to to the accessories they manufacture for the products of this, a business that has grown disproportionately in recent years.

This is something that will not surprise anyone. There are many of us who put a case or cover on our iPhone as soon as we buy it. Such is that point, that it is rarely the time we see someone on the street carrying their iPhone "bareback", as it is a product too expensive to be exposed to bumps and drops

In a recent study, accessory sales for new iPhones during the two weeks after their launch reached a record high of 249 million. There is nothing. This figure, already very large, becomes even more noticeable when we compare it with last year's sales with the iPhones 5s and 5c that, between the two, reached the 195 million.

The main income from these sales comes from part screen protectors and covers for devices, although there has also been a clear increase in the sale of headphones, speakers with bluetooth connection and external batteries.

It is clear that we are increasingly addicted to buying objects with which to give an extra of whatever to our terminal. As an example, the stock of the covers for the new iPhones was already sold out on Amazon the week before the launch in Spain, with shipments exceeding 20 days in most cases. This situation was very well reflected in the Apple Store queue, where many already had the cover bought and many others had in mind to acquire one of the officers sold by the company itself.
