However, it seems that there are people who have analyzed its design in a less superficial way and how could it be otherwise, have compared it to the iPhone 6.
You know Apple's obsession with symmetry, it has been one of its main pillars since its existence. Samsung, for its part, does not consider this important factor to develop its designs and we have proof of this in el Galaxy S6, terminal in which all the elements of its edges are not aligned.
Clearly No one is going to stop buying the Galaxy S6 for a reason like this But those who know the work behind a good design will appreciate these kinds of details.
Recall that symmetry is one of the basic principles When it comes to designing, however, in the case of the iPhone it is also the reason why today, we have a huge frame at the top and bottom of the terminal screen. Symmetry is there, for the good and for the bad.
In Samsung they do not have that problem and for that reason, each element is put in order to make the manufacturing process easier or cheaper final. It is the only reason that I see for varying the arrangement in that way and not opting for the symmetry that the iPhone looks like.
Let's take this post as a simple curiosity or even humorous tone. As I say, no one is going to stop buying the Galaxy S6 because its button is not aligned with the SIM tray.
There are also designs in which precisely that absence of symmetry makes them attractive or unique…. for color tastes, but I don't think symmetry should be a "basic principle" of design
