The hearsay around the new designs of the iPhone 14 are the order of the day. The tone is common: Apple intends to launch devices with a continuous design except the removal of the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Finally, the big apple is going to make a distinction in the 'Pro' models well beyond the third rear camera. and makes it through a new pill-shaped design on the front. A few hours ago, a report was published where the screen sizes of these Pro models without notch were leaked and we see that the size does not increase significantly but at a functional level it is clear that there are going to be changes.
Slight changes to iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max screen sizes
The new iPhone 14 will arrive in September. Until then, we still have a long way to go based on leaks, rumors and concepts that will outline, even more so, the future of Apple's smartphone. What is clear to us so far is that the iPhone 14 is going to start a partial cycle change eliminating the notch of the Pro terminals.
As I mentioned before, Apple has decided remove the notch that first appeared on the iPhone X of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. With this, the big apple makes a big difference at the design level with respect to the standard version and Max. But also, the notch says goodbye to greet a new 'hole + pill' shaped design. This new design slightly enlarges the screen size.
According to the latest data provided by the analyst Ross young in his Twitter account these would be the dimensions:
- iPhone 14 Pro: 6.12″
- iPhone 14 Pro Max: 6.69″
If we compare these sizes with the current generation of iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max with the notch, we see that there is hardly any substantial change between the screen dimensions:
- iPhone 13 Pro: 6.06″
- iPhone 13 Pro Max: 6.68″
Remember also that iPhone 14 bezels will be more rounded and narrower. Although this does not produce a great change in the dimension of the panels, on a visual level it can print a great change that makes the devices appear larger.
