Although it has been 30 years since the GIF format was born, it has been in recent years that it has become one of the most used tools by users when it comes to expressing their emotions, instead of continuing to use sad and inanimate GIFs . What's more, practically every day we have at our disposal a large number of files in this format, which allows us not to repeat them at any time. Facebook seems to have never been very fond of these types of files and until yesterday, the largest social network in the world has not offered a dedicated button on the social network to respond to comments with an animated file in this format. Of course, it is only available when responding to comments, not to write publications on our wall.
To be able to reply to a comment using a file in this format, we just have to click on reply and click on the dedicated GIF button, a button that will open a new window in which the most popular GIFs will be displayed as well as allow us to search the largest web gif, Ghipy. To send it, we just have to click on the GIF that we want to send and it will automatically appear as a response.
This new feature is not only available in the official Facebook application, but it is also available through the company's website. So far we could make use of this type of files but through a link, which made it difficult to use this feature, forcing many users not to use it. But thanks to this new button, it is likely that our publications will begin to fill with files of this type, something that many users of the social network will probably appreciate.
