The Galaxy S7 will have its Live Photos function

live Photos

One of the functions that most attracted attention during the presentation of the new iPhone 6s / 6s Plus is thanks to the 3D Touch technology to be able to creplay small videos with sound, This function called Live Photos offers us a curious functionality that I don't particularly see that many people are using. At least in my environment.

The latest rumors surrounding the Galaxy S7 suggest that the Koreans would add new software to their flagship device that would allow to perform the same function, capturing small videos when pressed on the screen, but obviously it would have a different name.

The Korean company again re-copies a new role from the Cupertino-based company, But it makes sense, since 3D Touch technology is impressive. Samsung is shuffling two names for this new copied feature: Vivid Photos or Timeless Photo. The same rumors suggest that unlike the small video created by Apple, Samsung videos would not record sound, but they could be shared on different social networks, since during the process it would be converted into GIF format through Facebook or Twitter

It is likely that many users of the Korean firm claim that the function of capturing an image with sound has been available on Galaxy models for a couple of years with the Sound & Shot function, but unlike Live Photos, the latter if they capture the images not only the sound.

The next Samsung Galaxy S7 is scheduled for its presentation date on February 21 at the MWC to be held in Barcelona, it will have 4 GB of RAM, a new 12 megapixel camera and will be managed by the new processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

1.- It is not something that Apple invented, it is something that it copied from HTC and Windows Phone.
2.- It is not something that exists thanks to 3D Touch, in fact it is quite annoying to have to press the screen (which by the way would not need to be 3D touch to see the movement when touching the screen). On Windows Phone, when you open a photo, the movement is automatically seen, and it is much more natural and visual than having to cover your finger with the screen and hold your finger until the animation ends. In addition, then in Windows 10, animations are also automatically seen when viewing the photos. It is all much more natural and without having to press anything to see it, that fact makes people not give them to see it or even share it.

Perhaps you do not understand the difference, it is not about the animations, the trick is that it is activated when using the 3dtouch but you would simply put a short video that always played so you don't have to press on the screen

What a trick, it is absurd to have to touch the screen, and as I said, you don't need 3D touch to make it play while you press. If you keep your finger pressed it is supposed to be to see the animation, you do not have to detect if you press hard or soft. It seems somewhat forced to show off 3D Touch, but it does not add anything here, without 3D Touch it can be done, and in fact it is done with Camera MX without 3D Touch, there is no reason to have to force to press hard, there is no other function let it be squeezing loose.
