Instagram is one of the major social networks of the moment. Billions of users post, post stories, or just entertain themselves by scrolling through videos and images around the app. However, iPad users don't yet have a native app tailored to their screen. They only have the iPhone app with the possibility of increasing it in size, but without being fully accessible. In fact, It is not among Instagram's plans to bring the app to the iPad this year or at least that is what the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has claimed in recent hours.

Instagram's story of the day comes through a Twitter conversation started by Marques Brownlee, the director of the MKBHD podcast, in which he comments that in 2022 Instagram still doesn't have a native app for the iPad. Faced with this message, the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri intervenes, assuring that is not the priority for Instagram at the moment due to the low volume of users it would satisfy:
Yup, we get this one a lot. It's still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority. Hoping to get to it at some point, but right now we're very heads down on other things.

Although Mosseri's argument is true, Brownlee replies that In the hypothetical case that there was a native app, that volume of users would increase. However, the head of instagram assured that other markets are much more powerful and productive speaking in figures such as Android, the web itself or iOS. Therefore, it is made clear that there will be no native iPad app anytime soon.
This new episode is consistent with Mosseri's speech on previous occasions where he assured that there is little staff and lack of volume to consider working on this aspect. Therefore, those iPad users who want to enjoy their Instagram feed will have to do so through the web version for the time being.
