The chronicle of a hit-and-run pitch is the story of AirTags, a device Apple that has been prepared in the Cupertino offices for months and months. However, they have not found the perfect date or time for its launch. Or so say the rumors that haunt the company. This accessory will allow our most precious objects to be located from our device. Of course, with iOS and iPadOS 14.5 when it is officially released. In the meantime, the imminent arrival of AirTags it is glimpsed thanks to the betas that Apple is launching of its 14.5 software. Activating the 'Objects' section in the Search app is just one more crumb on the winding path of AirTags.
Everything prepared at Apple for the launch of AirTags
The rumor mill began to grease a few days ago when Prosser and other leakers pointed to March 23 as a possible Apple event. An event in which we could see the new AirPods, the new generation of Apple TV and of course, the coveted Apple AirTags. This device that has been resonating on the network for a little over a year is about to see the light of day.
The last breadcrumb on the road, as I was saying, is the global activation of the 'Objects' section within the Search app in the iOS and iPadOS 14.5 beta. Therefore, now in Search we have three options: search for people, devices and objects. Among the objects it is expected to soon integrate the AirTags, the accessory of the Big Apple that will see the light in the coming weeks.

Apple's network of connections will guarantee to find our objects even if they are not connected to Wi-Fi as it says in the app:
Locate your devices in a maa even if they do not have mobile data or are not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
These AirTags are expected to bring with them the hardware introduced in other Apple devices: the ultra wide band under the U1 chip. But until we know officially that we have the accessory officially marketed, we just have to wait and follow the rumors. We are just a few weeks away from hearing news about Apple products.
Honestly, the Airtags could go where they fit. They have been since the end of January with the facial unlocking functionality with mask + watch fully completed and instead of putting it as an urgent update within iOS 14.4.1 they are wasting their time with nonsense. Please, we've been unlocking the phone with the damn password for a year! Do you want to stop doing shit and get to what matters?
