The new Apple Clips app only works on 64-bit devices

A few days ago, after the remodeling of the Apple website to add the new iPhone 7 RED and the new iPad, we also saw how the guys from Cupertino were about to launch a new app called Clips, an application with which we can create funny videos to share them on social networks or messaging applications. Yesterday was the day selected by the company to officially launch it, an application that is compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, but unfortunately not for all the models that today are compatible with iOS 10, and both the iPhone 5 / 5c as the iPad 4 have been left without the possibility of making use of this application.

Throughout the year, Apple is paying special attention to the applications that today are only compatible with 32-bit processors, in fact it has created a section in the device settings, where all the apps that as of today have not been updated yet and that can cause performance problems on the device. Also, if they are not updated before the release of iOS 11, it is most likely that Apple will remove them directly from the App Store.

But here what really worries is that iOS 10 could be the last version of iOS to receive the iPhone 5 / 5c and iPad 4as these devices are the only 32-bit devices compatible with the current version of iOS. The iPhone 4 was left out of the updates with iOS 7. The iPhone 4s was left out with iOS 9. If we follow this line of updates, iOS 11 should be the last iOS compatible with the iPhone 5 / 5c and iPad 4, but everything seems to indicate that the current version of iOS, number 10, will be the last to receive support from Apple, a strange move since iOS 10 works very well on these devices for the years they have but partly logical if the guys from Cupertino want to focus solely on 64-bit devices.
