We already have the new iPad 10, Apple's most affordable tablet, which is renewed with a design similar to that of the iPad Air and USB-C connectivity, plus new colors and accessories.
Not only are we launching the iPad Pro, Apple's most modest tablet also has a new model with a completely new design that makes it practically indistinguishable from the iPad Air, and with very daring new colors. It also incorporates the A14 Bionic processor and 5G connectivity. The most relevant changes of this new iPad 10 are the following:
- Front camera 12MP Ultra Wide Angle placed horizontally
- 12MP rear camera with the ability to record 4K video and videos at 240fps
- New 10,9-inch screen, with 2360 × 1650 resolution, True Tone technology and 500 brightness hits
- Touch ID on the power button
- New colors: pink, blue, silver and yellow
- New keyboard (optional) Magic Keyboard Folio, in two pieces and with TouchPad
- 64 and 256GB storage
- Optional 5G connectivity
- USB-C
The new Magic Keyboard Folio keyboard that is sold separately will allow you to use it as if it were a laptop thanks to its full keyboard and multitouch trackpad. It has a top row of buttons with functions such as volume control or screen brightness. It connects magnetically thanks to the Smart Connector and does not need a battery or link with our tablet. USB-C connectivity also helps improve device productivity, with many more accessories available without being limited to Lightning-compatible accessories like before. It is curious that Apple Pencil 2 is not compatible with this iPad model, having to resort to the first generation Apple Pencil and a USB-C adapter to be able to recharge it. This accessory will come in the box of the Apple Pencil 1st Gen from now on and can be purchased separately for €10 for those who already have it.
The Wi-Fi models of the new iPad are available for a starting price of €579 and Wi‑Fi + Cellular models, starting at €779. The 64 and 256 GB models of the new iPad come in blue, pink, yellow and silver. The new Magic Keyboard Folio designed for the new iPad is available for €299 and it comes in white. The new Smart Folio designed for the new iPad is available for €99 and comes in white, baby blue, watermelon and lemon yellow. It can be reserved from today and will be available in stores from October 26.
