The entire new iPad Pro range has 6GB of RAM

iPad Pro

Against all odds, yesterday morning Apple updated its website to add the new iPad Pro range, with which we reached the fourth generation. The main novelties offered by this new iPad is the A12Z processor, which incorporates 8 cores for graphics processing and in the photographic section, where we find two cameras and a lidar sensor.

Shortly after, Apple released the Golden Master version of iOS 13.4 for developers, a new version that in its internal code shows us how the fourth generation of the iPad Pro range is managed by 6 GB of RAM. A relatively important and necessary leap for the management of graphical processes to be faster and more efficient.

The third generation of the iPad Pro, which was launched in 2018, was managed by 4 GB of RAM in all its models, except for the version with 1 TB of storage. This model it was the only one that included 6GB of storage.

This means that it does not matter which model you choose, since all new models will offer the same performance when working with applications in the background, whether it is the 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB model. Another novelty that comes from the hand of the fourth generation of the iPad Pro is that it integrates the U1 chip, a chip that is also available in the iPhone 11 range.

Of the new processor, the only thing we know is that tIt has one more core for graphics processes, 8 in total for the 7 of the A12X that manages the 3rd generation iPad Pro in its variants. Regarding the performance offered by this new processor, at the moment we do not have more data until the first users receive it and perform the different performance tests, but everything seems to indicate that the difference will be minimal.
