The new iPhone will not bring 3D Touch in any of the models

The 3D Touch debuted almost 4 years ago, with the introduction of the iPhone 6s. A new functionality that Apple introduced to give us shortcuts and other new functions, and that now that users have gotten used to it could take us away with the launch of the new iPhone of 2019.

There are several rumors that have been pointing to this possibility in the last year, and just a few days ago Barclays analysts assured MacRumors that they are completely sure that the 3D Touch will disappear completely. It will be replaced by the Haptic Touch, a feature that debuted with the iPhone XR and that it would be improved with iOS 13.

Those who have an iPhone XR will already know what the Haptic Touch is and the differences with the 3D Touch. While the latter requires a special technology on the screen that detects the level of pressure we exert on it, the Haptic Touch is nothing more than a name given to the "long press" of a lifetime. Of course, a haptic motor, the same one used with the 3D Touch, returns a vibration that indicates that this special function has been activated. The implementation in the iPhone XR is much more limited than in devices with 3D Touch, and we do not have shortcuts when clicking on the icons, for example, nor can we preview the photos in the messages.

The idea would be that with iOS 13 we see that this Haptic Touch improves and its possibilities are increased after a year experimenting with the iPhone XR. Maybe in the event on June 3 we will see something that we will finish confirming if the disappearance of the 3D Touch of the new iPhone models will be a fact. Just in case, if it's not already your favorite feature, don't get too fond of it these months.
