La Next WWDC 2020 is just around the corner, and obviously with so few days remaining it is normal for rumors to begin to surface, or to begin to generalize rather. The latest: a revamped Messages app for Mac based on the Catalyst project, Apple's project to migrate iOS apps to our Macs. And it seems that Apple wants to equate message applications for iOS and Mac. An app, the latter, that lIt has been on our Macs for several years but has been lagging behind due to the great evolution that has been taking place in iOS thanks to extensions, apps for messages (although they are rarely used), and Memoji and all that they entail. Even we can use the app to make economic transactions between our contacts where it is possible to use Apple Pay Cash. That is why Messages may be the next renewed app within our Macs. With the latest macOS we already saw how iTunes was detached in several applications, and they even incorporated the app Home to our Macs, an app traced to that of iOS devices that may be the germ of all those that will come based on this project of compatibility between systems.
Rumors or not, the truth is that there is less and less so that we can get out of doubt in the next WWDC 2020, the first fully virtual developer conference. It will be there that we will see all the news of the new operating systems and it will be time to see how many apps on our Mac arrive with this redesign, at least in their programming, based on the new Catalyst.
