Despite the excellent quality of the OLED panel manufactured by Samsung Display and available on the iPhone X, the Korean company has managed to further increase the image quality of the new S9 series. As a result, DisplayMate has ranked the Galaxy S9 at the top of the ranking as the best smartphone display with exceptional performance. What's more, It is the first screen on a smartphone to receive the All Green rating in all the laboratory tests the company has performed.
According to the President of DisplayMate, Samsung has broken all performance records and has become the best performing display today, receiving the highest A + rating in its entire history. The Galaxy S9 has matched and even surpassed the iPhone X in terms of absolute color accuracy, maximum screen brightness, higher contrast ratio, wider native color gamut, and the lowest screen reflectance (4,4%). DisplayMate describes the Galaxy S9 screen as "visually perfect".
The screen of the Galaxy S9 offers us a panel of 5,8 inches SuperAMOELD with 3k resolution and 570 dpi, while the iPhone X screen is 5,8 inches OLED type with a resolution of 2.336 x 1.125 and 458 dpi.
