Less than a week after the presentation of iOS 17 and its first Beta, Apple continues with the development of iOS 16 releasing the second Beta of iOS 16.6, along with those of watchOS, tvOS and macOS.
There are less than 7 days left until we see what iOS 17 brings us, the next big update for iPhone and iPad, as well as the rest of the updates for Apple Watch, HomePod, Apple TV and Mac. No big changes are expected in iOS ( nor iPadOS) except for some new features on the lock screen and perhaps improvements in the widgets, and new accessibility options such as the possibility of simulating your voice in telephone conversations and video calls. The only big update is expected in watchOS, which according to rumors will bring important changes to its design, practically unchanged since its presentation with the first Apple Watch model.
Do not expect big changes in iOS 16.6, or rather none, because it seems that Apple already reserves all the interesting news for the presentation of iOS 17. In the first Beta of iOS 16.6 we did not find anything worth mentioning, as in those of watchOS, macOS and tvOS. Waiting to try this second Beta first hand on my iPhone, for what is being discussed on social networks there is no news of note either, so what may be the last update of iOS 16 is not expected until the arrival of its successor, iOS 17, does not bring anything that we users can notice on our devices. We will keep reporting.
