Periscope's market arrival was the Kicking off apps to stream video from anywhereAlthough it was not the first to reach the market, it was the one that converted this new type of popular communication. Shortly after, Facebook launched the copy machine and included this function directly in the native application of the social network, not as Twitter had done by making this service independent as an independent application. In recent months we have seen how the integration of Periscope in Twitter is more extensive so that practically it is no longer necessary to install the application to transmit or enjoy the live video broadcast by the people we follow.
Twitter has an application for Apple TV, an app you worked on together with Apple and with which we can enjoy live NFL games in addition to all the content available through Periscope and the videos available on Twitter. This application has just been updated giving more prominence to the broadcasts that are broadcast via Periscope so that as we can find in the dedicated application for iOS we have a globe where the videos that are being broadcast live are shown or have been issued by one of the people we follow.
This new option called Global Discovery offers us four options: navigate through the globe looking for what interests us most, move from video to video, zoom in and out of the globe. These four options can be done directly through the Siri Remote and by pressing the Play key. Enjoying the globe with all the live or recently created reproductions is ideal on a larger screen such as the television at our home.
