Yahoo Weather app updates with daily notifications

Application Yahoo Weather is undoubtedly one of the best applications to know the Weather forecast on our iPhone, a more complete and detailed alternative to the native weather application on iOS. This application is one of the most downloaded in its category due to its appearance and minimalism, awarded last year in 2013 in the design contest, and it is also a universal application that allows iPad users to have a weather application, since they lack it. You have now received an important update that will allow us to receive weather forecast notifications.

With the update of Yahoo Weather with version 1.5.6 already available for download on our devices we can receive up to date two notifications of the weather forecast of the place we want, both the location where we are, and the place we want. To configure these notifications we will press the icon of the 3 lines in the upper left corner of the application and we will scroll to configuration. Once inside daily notifications we can activate or deactivate them and set the time to which we wish to receive them and the place of the desired notifications. Ideally, you should configure the application to receive a notification of the expected weather in the morning and the other notification in the afternoon or evening to prepare for the next day.

Notification settings

This is a new feature that will keep us informed of the expected time without having to go through the application, just by consulting the information in the notification we will have the expected time in our desired location or city at our fingertips. The best thing is that the Yahoo Weather application is Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days and we can enjoy this novelty from now on by activating the notifications in the application. You can download the application from the App Store or from the link that we add under these lines.

What do you think of the Yahoo Weather update?

This means that giving us daily information with location would greatly affect the consumption of our iphone battery. Personally, it doesn't suit me like that. I prefer the weather Chanel app.

Son, at this point in life, don't you know that the location can be deactivated? it actually asks you when you install it.

Let's see, I don't know if you don't try before and the yahoo send you a note saying what you have to write.
The day you published the news, I opened the App and activated the notifications of the application on the iPhone and iPad. Seeing that nothing happened, I gave up the App and reinstalled it, the notifications still did not arrive. I have managed to get the notifications to arrive, but at what price ... Let me explain, if you have the application closed, the notifications do not arrive, and if you have the application open and you deactivate the update in the background, either. You have to have the application active (and updating in the background) at the times of notifications (for that I open the application and see it at the hours that interest me) or open the App and leave it eternally active and updating in the background….

Another thing, it does not show a prediction, the notification consists of: cloud / sun / rain icon, city name and temperature at that moment
    That is not a prediction
