And precisely, yesterday we saw how Apple launched the final version of iOS 14.2, a new iOS that arrives prepared for the launch of the new iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the exclusive iPhone 12 Mini. First of all, you see it in the previous image, iOS 14.2 brings us about 100 new emojis approved by the Unicode consortium, the new emoji of 2020 that bring us new animals and new inclusive genres among many other things. Of course, probably what you like the most about this new iOS 14.2 are the 8 new wallpapers that also change depending on how we have our iPhone configured: dark or light.
On the new iPhone 12 Pro Thanks to the LiDAR sensor, we can now detect the proximity of people and even measure the distance between us and that person. Also one of the most interesting news is that now the battery of the AirPods joins the smart charge to try to make the battery of these deteriorate the least. And yes, as we have told you in the successive Betas, it is now possible to add a Shazam button in Control Center to identify the music that sounds around us (without having to install the app).

This release also fixes the following problems:
- Apps could appear cluttered in the Dock on the home screen.
- When opening the camera, the viewfinder could be displayed in black.
- When entering the code on the keypad of the locked screen, some keystrokes may not be recognized.
- When setting reminders, a default time may appear already past.
- The Photos widget may not display content.
- The Weather widget could display the maximum temperature in degrees Celsius when the device was configured to use degrees Fahrenheit.
- The description of the graph of precipitation in the next hour in the Weather app might not correctly indicate when the precipitation stopped.
- Voice memo recordings were interrupted when receiving a call.
- The screen could go black while playing Netflix videos.
- When opening the Apple Watch app, it might quit unexpectedly.
- The GPS routes of the workouts or the health data of some users could not be synchronized between the Apple Watch and the iPhone.
- The CarPlay panel incorrectly displayed the “Not Played” label when audio was playing.
- Some devices may not charge wirelessly.
- Exposure notifications were disabled when restoring iPhone from iCloud backup or transferring data to a new iPhone using iPhone migration feature.
